CONSORZIO AGRITAL RICERCHE was set up in 1987 on the initiative of scientific organizations, public bodies and enterprises to promote a wider cooperation between university and industry in the research sector having to do with agriculture, animal husbandry, and forestry.

AGRITAL till the end of his life, on july 2006, supported, planned and carried out activities of research, experimentation, analysis, training, and extension in those fields.

AGRITAL RICERCHE was a not-for-profit organization. Its activities have been supported by: FAO, European Union, Government Agencies, Italian National Research Council (CNR), Latium Region, private industries.
